Outil Atelier is a European manufacturer of handheld power tools.
Its new leadership team intends to focus on strengthening its brand identity, becoming synonymous with cutting edge technology and craftsmanship in the power hand tool sector.
Outil Atelier has appointed my team to redesign their Strøm tool range. Strøm is the Danish word for “power”, Outil Atelier's flagship range aimed at professional craftspeople. This market category ensures professionals the best safety and control in tough working environments. As a company, Outil Atelier also provides services for parts replacement, ensuring its consumers a lifetime of reliability.
Strøm's circular saw is a handheld power tool; it utilises a rotary blade to cut through materials like wood, plastic and metal.
The tool's slimmer profile and reconfigured layout – whereby the handle aligns with the blade – enhances ambidextrous ergonomics.
The handle is redesigned as the centralised touch zone to increase efficiency in user control.
This includes clear display indications, available for both depth and bevel angle up to 1dp-precision.
Changing the saw blade also has never been easier. The x-lock offers a secure click-and-lock mechanism in two steps.
This feature is shared in the tool range, carrying across the ease of security protection whenever you pick up a Strøm.
Strøm is powered by an 18V rechargeable battery, with Bluetooth capacity to connect to the mobile Strøm Monitor App.
The battery can also be your inclined armrest for longer workpieces.
Strøm Monitor App features maintenance control, location tracking of your tool(s) and special deals.
